South Shore Mental Health, located in Quincy, Mass., is a private, nonprofit behavioral health care organization providing mental health and substance abuse services for people of all ages. The services include outpatient counseling, medication, intensive outpatient programs, early intervention, day treatment, residential services, 24-hour emergency services and crisis stabilization. The organization has a staff of more than 850 full- and part-time individuals who offer expertise in meeting the needs of children, families, adults, people with long-term mental illnesses, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those who are hearing impaired.
