Although I always knew I wanted to be in a helping profession, I fell in love with the fields of psychiatry and pediatrics while in medical school. Child psychiatry allowed me to blend the two disciplines. I have found that there is nothing more gratifying than helping patients and their families over time, which is why I practice mainly in the outpatient clinic. Because I also enjoy teaching, I am excited to be affiliated with the medical school and child psychiatry fellowship program at Dell Medical School and Seton.
