This well-kept and friendly pub serves reputable food and around 100 kinds of beer. Dishes include deep-fried "Dixie" dill pickles, a roast beef and brie sandwich and beer-battered salmon fish and chips. The pub consists of one long, rectangular room with barrel tables lining one side. Happy hour halves the cost of appetizers and brings drafts to $3, and runs 4- 6pm during the week, 11pm - midnight on Saturdays and all day Sunday. At night, the pub is dimly lit and often has live music.

Pasatiempo Golf Club features an 18-hole championship golf course, two onsite restaurants and meeting and banquet space. The golf course was designed by world-renowned golf architect Alister MacKenzie. Even though MacKenzie also designed Augusta National and Cypress Point, Pasatiempo was his favorite layout and where he made his American home, which still borders the sixth fairway. It is ranked #31 in Golf Digest s 2005 America s Greatest Public Courses, and also was named one of the top 3 courses in California. Pasatiempo s 16th hole has been named one of the Best of the West par fours by Fairways & Greens magazine. The onsite Hollins House hosts corporate meetings, banquets, weddings and fine dining. The golf club opened in 1929 and is located in Santa Cruz, Calif.
