Adventure Sports Center is a nonprofit organization established for the development of a hub for adventure sports activities. ASCI is a community activity center for conducting educational and training programs and recreational use for residents of the McHenry, Md., area. It helps promote economic development through expanded tourism and growth of the adventure sports industry. It is ASCI s mission to establish an International Adventure Sports Center that is recognized as a focal point in the emerging and expanding adventure sports industry worldwide. The center works to promote, educate and facilitate participation in a wide range of adventure-based recreational activities and competitions, thereby creating a destination that serves to support local economic development.
