The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts, located in Cerritos, Calif., is the Southlands premier performing arts and conference facility. The business offers performances in music, dance and theater as well as facilities for meetings, banquets and special events. CCPA is owned and operated by the City of Cerritos. Its annual season is from August through May. The schedule, including more than 150 performances, consists of an eclectic mix of artists. CCPA has been host to performances by Frank Sinatra, Whitney Houston, The Cheiftains, Kathleen Battle, the Dance Theater of Harlem and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Its performance space offers various seating and stage configurations. The 6,000-square-foot area converts through a series of mobile seating towers and seating wagons, multiple floor lifts and moving ceiling panels.
