The Recycling Zone is the Dakota County recycling center, located in Eagan. The Recycling Zone is publicly run, offering a place for residents to properly dispose of items that cannot be thrown in the trash such as lawnmowers, plastic bags, fluorescent lightbulbs and chemical cleaning supplies. Tours of the Recycling Zone can be scheduled online for groups. For further inquiries, phone the Recycling Zone or check the website.

This is one of three drop sites under the Randy's Environmental Services banner. People can drop off their used electronics, batteries, appliances, tires and other items that are no longer being used. In return, Randy's will dispose of them in an environmentally-safe manner.
Our recycle and disposal list covers the following:
• Clean asphalt and concrete (mixed with gravel)
• Concrete with mesh and rebar
• Concrete bases and sewer pipe
• Topsoil - dry, wet, and with sod
• Clay - dry or wet (clean yellow only)
• Stumps, wood chips, and hay bales
We recycle many of the above items into our topsoil, mulch, and rock products. These products are available to any residential, commercial, and wholesale customers for pick-up and delivery.
