Temple Emmanuel, located in a mostly residential neighborhood on Chestnut Street, has been a staple in Wakefield for more than 50 years. The Mun Su Sa Buddhist Temple opened in 1992 and has seen its membership grow to more than 300 families. The temple conducts weekly services on Sundays at 11am and offers free yoga and meditation several nights a week. The temple also has a practicing adult choir.
