The Bickford family began their journey into senior living in 1991 for their beloved mother, Mary Bickford, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and whose needs became too great for them to manage. As they researched senior living options, they were shocked at what they found. The options offered too much or too little – none met her needs and nothing felt like home. Since they couldn’t find what they wanted, they decided to create what she needed. What has sprung from Mary’s life continues to grow, but at the end of day all that matters to them is the happiness of the sweet little lady in apartment 406, because nearly 30 years ago that “someone” was their Mary Bickford.
