S&J Crab Ranch is a restaurant offering steamed crab and Southern barbecue dishes for lunch and dinner. A raw bar is featured in the restaurant. Tucked tightly between The Orient and a 7-Eleven, Cafe Spice's red awning seems tiny, but behind the entrance lies a venture into Indian cuisine unlike anything else in Towson. The resturaunt features a buffet, grill and lounge and serves dishes that live up to the name. Also offered are take-out, delivery and catering services. Cafe Spice is currently closed for renovations, but it is set to open to the public again on September 1, 2010.
Jerry's Subs and Pizza has offered an ample variety of take-out and delivery options in addition to their dine-in menu since 2005. In a college town heavily populated by pizza delivery places, Jerry's stands out by offering hefty submarine sandwiches as well. The Towson extension of the regional chain now features flat-screen TVs in the dining area for the customers' entertainment.
Hidden on the lower level of Towson's Exchange office building, and with no outdoor signage to direct patrons, Papillion is easy to miss but does steady business feeding the business folk inhabiting the other floors. During the seasonable months, grab your lunch to go and snag one of four huge wooden picnic tables under the trees on the opposite side of the building.
