Independence Village is a HUD subsidized apartment community for the elderly and disabled with studio (efficiency) and 2-bedroom apartment homes ready for immediate move-in. Applicants must be at least 62 yoa OR 50 yoa AND disabled with an annual income not to exceed $21,650 ($1,800/mo) for one person or $24,750 ($2,060/mo) for two persons. Rent is based on income, assets and out-of-pocket medical expenses. Other restrictions apply. All bills paid.
