Founded in 1997, Marin County School Volunteers matches qualified volunteers with public school students who need help with their academics. More than 400 volunteers provide assistance at 44 schools and after-school programs in a variety of subjects and for a range of age groups. Orientations are offered periodically.
The Saratoga Union School District is dedicated to inspiring and educating students to be academically succesfful, responsible and caring. It serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade, with three elementary schools and one middle school. This location houses the district offices.
Albert Einstein Middle School, the sole middle school in Rosemont, is located just behind Rosemont Community Park. The school's "Where Everyone Belongs" program invites eighth-graders to mentor the incoming seventh-graders, and the school seeks to eliminate the idea that middle school is a "survival of the fittest."
The school is highly involved with feeder elementary schools, as well as Rosemont High School. It has been recognized as a California Distinguished School as well as a California Title I Academic Achieving School.
During the 2006-2007 school year, the campus received upgrades and renovations, and in 2008 the physical education facilities were improved.
