Hingham Public School Department oversees elementary, middle and high schools in the community. The department is based on Central Street in Hingham and provides a range of resources for students and parents, including school guidelines, lunch options, transportation services, academics, clubs, athletics and extracurricular activities.
Seekonk's only middle school is located close to the library along scenic Newman Avenue. In 2004, it was renamed after the town's late superintendent.
The mission statement of the school, "seeks to develop students to their greatest academic, personal, social, and physical potential by providing a challenging, quality education incorporating the latest theories of learning and adolescent development."
Dr. Joan Fargnoli is the principal. Mary Westcoat is the assistant principal.
Located in the same building as the Margaret Neary School in Southborough, the Northborough-Southborough school administrative offices include that of Superintendent Charles E. Gobron, Ed.D, who has worked in education for nearly 40 years, most of them in Northborough and Southborough.
The administrative offices also include those of assistant superintendent, director of education and student support services, director of business, assistant director of special education and director of technology.
The office serves both the Northborough and Southborough school districts and works closely with the school committees of both towns.
