The administration building for Grosse Pointe Public Schools houses the superintendent's office, human resources, curriculum assessment and instruction and community education offices. It also has an informational office where new residents may register their children.
Polish Mission of the Orchard Lake Schools is a historic and cultural organization serving Orchard Lake and the surrounding communities. Founded in 1885 by Polish immigrants, the organization works to preserve and promote Polish and Polish-American culture, tradition, and history for present and future generations. Johnson Nature Center is a 40-acre site that features an inland pond, a tributary of the Rouge River, various trees, flowers, deer, mink, and coyote. The site also features log cabins a Visitor Center and an outdoor amphitheater, which is used for classes, programs and meetings.
