Erie County Technical School, located in Erie, Pa., is the career and technical education department for more than 10 school districts in Erie County, Pennsylvania. It offers more than 20 career-training programs to high school sophomores, juniors and seniors. The programs include courses in communication, such as commercial art, computer information systems, drafting and design, graphic communications, and networking technologies. It has courses in construction trades and facilities engineering. Its human services programs, include child care, cosmetology, culinary arts, health assistant, and tourism and hospitality management. It provides manufacturing programs, such as electrical engineering, electronics, metal fabrication, plastics technology, and tool and die. Erie County Technical School also offers programs in auto body repair and automotive technologies.
