Founded in 1962, Block Institute is a nonsectarian agency providing individualized services for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Based in Brooklyn, N.Y., the agency offers education and evaluation services program for children with special needs. Additionally, its programs for adults with disabilities include rehabilitation, vocational services, day treatment, residential care, medicaid service coordination and clinical services.
