Harvard Square2 offers personalized tutoring for all subjects and grades 4 through 12. It features a large classroom in the rear of the building where students can work with highly educated tutors and academic professionals on improving their test scores, SAT or ACT prep and general study habits. The instructors speak both English and Chinese fluently, and work with students from all different backgrounds. Free parking is an option out front.
The San Marino Unified School District has ranked number one in the state for academic performance scores the last seven years. Gary W. Woods is the superintendent of the district, which comprises four schools. In 2010, the district's "Refuse to Lose" campaign raised more than $4 million to compensate for reduced state funding to schools.
