Greenwich Japanese School is a co-ed private school that provides a traditional Japanese education for children in the first through ninth grade. English is taught as a second langauge. The school year begins in April and ends in January. The school relocated from Queens in 1992 and shares the campus with the Westchester Fairfield Hebrew Academy.
Established in 1960, Christ Church Nursery School is as a non-sectarian, non-profit, outreach of Christ Church Greenwich. There are programs for Two, Three and Four-year-olds, plus a Pre-K program. There are Lunch Bunch, Extended Day and Afternoon programs.
There are 125 children currently enrolled. When children leave our school, we believe they will be independent thinkers, risk takers and good friends who will grow up to make a difference in our world.

The Ski & Scuba Connection offers scuba diving instruction for enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Programs are offered at the recreational to professional level. Students can potentially acquire skills to qualify as an assistant instructor. Special programs include nitrox, wreck, deep, night, search and recovery, photo, underwater hunter, dry suit, underwater navigator, drift diver, boat diver, underwater videographer, diver propulsion vehicle, and equipment specialist. Current and prospective students can book their classes online. The store carries a variety of sporting apparel and diving gear.
Round Hill Nursery School was founded in 1946 and enrolls children ages two to five in Greenwich. The school currently has about 80 children from Greenwich and neighboring towns. Round Hill teaches classes in reading, writing, math and fine motor skills.
The Upper School division of Round Hill Nursery School (ages three to five) is housed in the education wing of the historic First Church of Round Hill. The First Step division of RHNS (for two-year-olds) is located in the modern Round Hill Community Church.
Mencius Mandarin Preschool is an English–Mandarin Chinese bilingual preschool located in the heart of Greenwich. It serves children ages 2 to 5 years old, and does not require that its students have prior knowledge of Mandarin Chinese. The school admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin—as long as they are willing to learn Mandarin Chinese. Founded in 2009, the school is non-sectarian and is licensed by the state of Connecticut.
Little Friends, a daycare and preschool located in the first floor of a quiet office building, offers part time and full time care for children aged six weeks to kindergarten age. The facility features a private outdoor play area. Little Friends also offers an after-school program and daycare services during school holidays for children up to eight years old.
Children's Day School began in 1947 as the Christian Day School and was renamed upon expansion in 2002. The school now includes a second campus at 8 Riverside Avenue in Riverside. CDS provides affordable early childcare for Greenwich families. There are educational play-based programs for six-week to six-year olds.
This is a premier location for Japanese and English language lessons. While this school is not accredited or licensed, it has been tutoring students in Greenwich and the surrounding communities for more than 20 years. Lessons cost $80 per hour.
The Stanwich School, founded in 1998, is a private coed day school located in Greenwich. It serves 425 students in pre-kindergarten through ninth grade, with plans to expand to include grades 10 through 12. The school is accredited by the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools.
Eagle Hill School is a private facility that offers a language-based, remedial program for children with learning disabilities. About 250 students ages six to 12 attend the program, 25 of whom board five days a week. A summer program is also available. The school is located on the Boulders Estate, which was acquired by C.W. Post in 1903 and occupied by Edgewood School, Haithcox School and Daycroft School until it became Eagle Hill's home in 1975.
