Cornerstone Elementary School caters to students in kindergarten through second grade. It is one of two elementary schools in the village. Cornerstone is located at 7480 Dan Hoey Road, just east of Baker Road. Its mission is to provide a quality education to students.
Copeland Administration Building is the primary administrative office for the Dexter Community Schools. It houses the superintendant's offices, the district's business offices and various other department offices.
Little Friends Preschool Daycare has been in business since 1982 and has had the same owners since 1985. The business is located in a 19th-century schoolhouse on Dexter Chelsea Road with whimsical decorations in the yard, including faces on the tree trunks. The school provides a healthy snack during the day and staff members are certified in CPR and first aid.
Bates Elementary is one of two schools serving students in kindergarten through the second grade. The staff at Bates helps to facilitate an atmosphere of learning and helps students achieve their greatest potential. Bates Elementary takes pride in its teaching staff, which is MLPP-trained.
Creekside Intermediate School caters to students in the fifth and sixth grade who attend Dexter Community Schools. The school was founded in 1958 and features various programs that help students prepare for the vigorous workload in high school. The school offers programs in Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies, along with visual arts and physical education.
