In the Saint Bernard's Church school facility at 3100 Hempstead Turnpike is the Nassau BOCES Adult Learning Center. The center can be found in the rear of the complex off of Hempstead Turnpike. Kindergarteners and first-graders in the Island Trees School District begin their education at the J. Fred Sparke Elementary School before moving to the Michael F.
