The Dental Assistant School of Rockland offers courses in dental theory, front desk management, radiology, cements and model trimming and other subjects to prepare students for careers as dental professionals. Graduates of the ten-week course receive a certificate, a dental assistant pin and the skills required to land a job as a dental assistant.

The curriculum includes math, science, history, language arts, fine arts and media communications, as well as an international baccalaureate program. Founded in 1947, Rockland Center for the Arts is a community arts space located on South Greenbush Road in West Nyack. The organization hosts musical performances, art exhibitions, art and craft classes and a summer day camp, in addition to participating with local schools to promote arts-in-education programs.
