Knox County Schools has been operational for more than 45 years. Based in Knoxville, Tenn., it is one of the leading school districts in the United States. The school district comprises more than 10 elementary, middle and high schools and special education centers. It provides several sports programs, including basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, baseball, tennis, badminton, swimming, soccer and softball.
