The Boston University Medical Campus is comprised of the Boston University School of Medicine, the Goldman School of Dental Medicine and the Boston University School of Public Health. The BU Medical Campus is located within the Boston Medical Center, its primary teaching affiliate. Together, the three schools employ more than 1,000 faculty members and train a group of more than 3,000 medical students. Medical students and faculty care for patients at the Boston Medical Center and surrounding hospitals and clinics. The three schools place particular emphasis on caring for disadvantaged, underserved and indigent populations.
