River City High School offers educational instruction to students from grades nine through 12. The school enrolls more than 1,500 students and is governed by the Washington Unified School District. The school s curriculum includes various subjects, such as mathematics, English, science and technology, social studies, language arts, health education, computer science, arts and crafts, music and physical education. Students at the school receive two points each day for dressing and participating. The school offers music courses and instrumental courses in symphonic band, piano and jazz band. It also offers instruction in beginning and advanced photography, graphic design, printmaking and ceramics. It has athletic teams for volleyball, football, baseball, softball, basketball, wrestling, cross country, soccer, golf, tennis, swimming, and track and field.
