Built in 1989, Tampa Palms Elementary School lies in the Tampa Palms community that boasts conservation areas, housing subdivisions and a golf and country club. One of the more noticeable aspects of the building is its hand-painted tiles on the front posts.
Tampa Palms Elementary serves more than 750 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Its vision statement is "Tampa Palms will be in the top one percent of elementary schools in the nation."

Bailey Family Foundation was formed in 1997 by Ron Bailey to improve the quality of post-secondary education. The Bailey family wanted to make education available to more people. The Foundation has over $2 million to fund more than 400 scholarships through four programs. The high school program is a scholarship for seniors who have a financial need and have proven scholastic achievement. The college program is a scholarship for students with financial need and proven scholastic achievement. The heritage program is a scholarship for descendants of George Patton Bailey. And "Hope For Tomorrow" is a research program to determine how scholarship funds are best utilized.
Broward Elementary was erected in 1926 and first opened in September 1927. It was named for former Governor Napoleon Bonaparte Broward.
The school is located a few blocks east of the Hillsborough River.
Broward serves a diverse, multi-ethnic student population. Eighty-nine percent of its students come from predominantly economically disadvantaged families.
