Founded in 1961, Montessori Academy of Glen Ellyn is the oldest Montessori school in DuPage County. The school offers classes and tutoring for young children, from toddlers to sixth graders, under the guidance, warmth and infectious enthusiasm of Director Annie Carlson.
One of the highlights of this academy is the 1.5-acre yard and school garden, which provides students an opportunity to learn gardening and cooking, as they make dishes such as summer squash muffins and cold gazpacho soup.
Mary Meyer School is a not-for profit, NAEYC accredited independent preschool. It serves children age three to four. It offers morning and afternoon programs, accommodating 18 children per class, each overseen by three teachers. The school was formerly known as Pine Grove Preschool.
The high school is located in the Harmony Campus along with Leggee Elementary School. Huntley High School is a secured building, and visitors must sign in at the front desk. The lobby has information about upcoming events.
