Orchard Lake Elementary School was originally known as the "brick school," which first opened in 1905. The school was demolished and the current building was erected in 1969. The site is one of the oldest school sites in the district. Today, the school, located Klamath Trail, west of Interstate 35, is home to 380 students in grades K-5 and is led by Principal Karen Roos.
The Burnsville, Eagan, Savage School District 191 offers three Early Childhood Programs at the Diamondhead Education Center.
These programs offer opportunies for learning and growing to families with infants and children in pre-kindergarten. Meanwhile, the Early Childhood Family Education program focuses on family growth.
The Early Care program focuses on pre-school-aged children and includes Pre-School Project KIDS and Ready-to-Learn. The School Readiness program includes Tiny Tots Preschool, Family Learning and Early Childhood Screening.
