Emmanuel Episcopal Church is a large church founded in 1867. It has adult and cherub (ages 4 - 1st grade) choirs, junior choir and adult mission trips. A variety of Bible studies are offered throughout the year. Child care is offered at the 9am and 10:30am services.
The American School of Real Estate is an online real estate license school. It delivers intern-based training and exam preps. Courses include real estate pre license, post license, broker, continuing education and appraisal courses.
Jackson Park Elementary serves students from kindergarten through sixth grade. The building is an architectural marvel, made of rich brick and boasting towers and stone work. Inside, the floors are covered with decorative tiles.
Wydown Middle School in Clayton serves students in sixth through eighth grade.
It works to provide a solid academic curriculum paired with numerous electives and activities including integrated arts, the Developmental Show and the Semester Art Show.
Students have discussed issues such as the peace process and alternative energy.
Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church and a school by the same name are located on South Lindbergh Boulevard, just north of the Chaminade Prepatory School campus. The church was founded in 1958 and came into being after decades of having people attending services in Chaminade's chapel. The parish has active programs for all ages and is engaged in the community, as part of its Marianist tradition.
Hixson Middle School, home of the 7th and 8th grade Husky's. The stadium here is used by both the middle school and high school athletic teams.
