Founded in 1937, Carolina Beach Elementary School enrolls more than 450 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers instruction in music, art, and physical and technology education. It also provides academic programs in a variety of subjects, such as mathematics, language arts, science and social studies. Carolina Beach Elementary School offers various after-school programs and organizes field trips. The school operates a parent-teacher organization that hosts a range of fundraising events.
