Union County College has campuses in Cranford, Elizabeth, Scotch Plains and Plainfield. The community college offers associate degrees and certificates in over 90 programs. Adult education is offered in subjects ranging from medical billing to real estate sales. In addition, a college for kids program welcomes children eager to get a head start on experiencing campus life. A fitness center, outdoor tennis court and observatory are highlights.
Lincoln School provides specialized learning opportunities through its Cranford Achievement Program, Cranford Middle School Program and Lincoln Elementary Achievement Program. The three programs provide an alternate curriculum and learning environment for students who have struggled in previous settings. Students come to the Lincoln School from both Cranford and other school districts. The school also holds the Cranford School District offices. Many Board of Education meetings are held here.
The Caldwell school is one of the Caldwell-West Caldwell district's four elementary schools.
Brookdale Community College Higher Education Center is a community college between Third Avenue and Broadway in Long Branch. It is a branch of Brookdale Community College. The center offers all services the main campus provides, as well as classroom and meeting space for community organizations. Students can take credit and non-credit classes as well as professional development courses. Students can also take general requirements at the center and then go on to the main campus for advanced classes. The main Brookdale Community College campus is located in Lincroft.
