The Albany Avenue School is part of the Farmingdale Union Free School District and serves the North Massapequa area. Students move on to the Weldon E. Howitt Middle School and Famingdale High School in Farmingdale after the Albany Avenue School.
About 650 students attend this 9th grade-only school before going on to Massapequa High School's main campus. The school offers many clubs, including a chess club, book club and debate club, and has a number of sports teams. Transportation is provided between the two campuses so that students can attend events at the main high school. Dr. Barbara Williams is the principal.
St. Rose of Lima Elementary School is a Roman Catholic school. St. Rose offers a full-day kindergarten program and a part-time nursery.
