The Community Service Foundation provides education and other programming for troubled and at-risk teenagers who suffer from a variety of emotional and behavioral problems, including learning disabilities, drug addiction and sexual abuse. The program is fully accredited and students can achieve a high school diploma from this school. Located in Historic Downtown Bethlehem, it is one of seven schools of its kind in eastern Pennsylvania.
Broughal Middle School is one of four public middle schools in the Bethlehem Area School District, serving primarily students from the South Side. In 2009, students were recently moved into a new, LEED-certified building that has also been given certification by the U.S. Green Buildings Council. With the new building, came a new academic focus on science, technology and mathematics. The building itself has become part of lesson plans. Sports and extracurricular activities are an important part of student life. There is a band, an orchestra and a football team that competes with other area middle schools.
This family-run school offers dance classes for young girls. It also puts on several recitals annually with costumes, lighting and music. Classes for various skill levels are available.
The East Hills Moravian Church offers two Sunday worship services, a preschool for children ages 2 to 4, a large gym, study groups, choir programs, and a Sunday school.
This is a licensed school that provides individualized instruction to students who exhibit above-average intelligence, but have a learning disability, attention deficit disorder or have underachieved for some other reason. The school rents space in the Unitarian Universalist Church on Center Street.

Lehigh Valley Children's Centers provide early childhood education and child care services for children raging from six weeks through elementary school age. Different age-appropriate programs are available for infants, toddlers and pre-school age children, along with before- and after-school care and summer camp. Programs include physical activity and an emphasis on self-confidence, individual attention and development of decision-making skills. It operates 20 locations throughout the Lehigh Valley area, including facilities in Allentown, Easton, Emmaus, Lower Macungie and Nazareth.
