Christ Our King-Stella Maris School provides Catholic education for children in pre-K through eighth grades.
Christ Our King - Stella Maris School was founded in 1950 by Stella Maris Church in Sullivan's Island, South Carolina. Today, COK-SM is located in Mount Pleasant just off of Colemand Boulevard on the same property as Christ Our King Church, and is supported by three parishes: Christ Our King Catholic Church; Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church; St. Benedict Catholic Church.
Dubose Middle School is the home of the Wildcats. A Dorchester County School District Two school, Dubose has a mission "to provide a safe environment where all students can learn at their highest level." The school's principal is Kenny Farrell.
Benedict College is a private liberal arts college. Benedict College is in the top 10 percent of colleges in the United States of biomedical degrees given. Benedict College also provides a number athletic opportunities, including basketball and football.
