The Woodlands High School operates under the Conroe Independent School District. It offers classes from grades nine through 12 and enrolls more than 2,300 students every year. The school provides a wide variety of academic programs, such as computer technology, foreign languages, health education, music and arts, science and social studies. The Woodlands High School also offers internship programs and advance career development courses, such as business management and vocational education. The school provides various clubs and activities, including debates, student clubs, a band, outdoor sporting events and student council. It has a specialized computer laboratory, library and playgrounds. Conroe Independent School District also operates other schools, including Armstrong Elementary School, Austin Elementary School and Lamar Elementary School. The high school is located in The Woodlands, Texas.
