The Mount Mansfield Winter Academy, also known as MMWA, offers a range of academic and enrichment programs. The academy enrolls more than 50 student-athletes in grades 8 through 12 from November through March. It has been serving students from New England since 1993. The academy provides opportunities for learning and playing winter sports, such as skiing and snowboarding. The Mount Mansfield Winter Academy works with Mount Mansfield Ski & Snowboard Club. The academy has a library and computer and science laboratories. It organizes training camps and administers scholarship programs. The Mount Mansfield Winter Academy operates community service programs, including Project Linus and Enviro Challenge.
