Bryant & Stratton College is a national higher-education system that offers 12 degree programs: seven associate degrees and five bachelor's. Among its programs are business, management, criminal justice, and medical assistance. The Wauwatosa campus features a library and computer lab.
New Tribes is located on the corner of North Hartwell and Arcadian avenues, just minutes from downtown Waukesha. New Tribes has been giving students Bible education and focusing on missions work since 1955. Ron Lindsey is currently serving as president.
Grandma's House Day Care Center is a child care facility. With several locations in the region, the staff here prides itself on its connections to the community it serves. The center's curriculum focuses on education and nurturing each child's social interaction.
Right next to Cardinal Stritch, along Port Washington Road, is the large property of St. Francis Children's Center. The interior is colorful, clean and vibrant. The staff is friendly, professional and willing to assist at every turn. The exterior includes a large playing area, another smaller playing area in the front, and several pieces of playground equipment. Three members of the staff are residents of Glendale, and two are graduates of neighboring Nicolet High School. Creative nurturing and education for early childhood development is the St. Francis Children's Center's primary concern.
Aquinas Academy is a Catholic school but not directly associated with a particular parish church. It currently serves kindergarten through eighth grade but the school is seeking to expand to a much larger campus on the 68 acre tract it owns surrounding the existing facilty. The school offers teaching in mathematics, history, science, labs, language arts, Latin, computers, physical education and fine arts, as well as Catholic religious training.
