Houlton Elementary School is about seven miles north of the city on County Road E in the unincorporated community of Houlton in the Town of St. Joseph. Children who attend Houlton Elementary live north of the Village of North Hudson, but still in the Hudson School District.
Christ The Lord Lutheran Church is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. Located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Brookfield and Gebhardt roads, the church has worship services on Sunday mornings and Monday evenings.
The adjacent Christ the Lord Lutheran School is open to students in preschool through eighth grade.
At Valley View Elementary, the Jaguar mascot is prominently displayed. A mural is painted in the gym, and the PTA bought t-shirts for students and staff with its image on them. The Jaguar mascot represents strength and speed, but is also a symbol that students and staff can rally behind. At Valley View, faculty emphasize the importance of teamwork and working collaboratively to its students. The school is committed to providing each student with the support and skills necessary to be lifelong learners and citizens in an increasingly global society.
Formerly St. Bernard's Parish School, St. Bernard's and St. Pius X parishes have merged their education programs to form Wauwatosa Catholic School, beginning with the 2011-2012 school year. The program will be located at St. Bernard's and is a preschool (K3) through grade eight program. Information on the new school can be found on its website.
