The Southfield Adult Recreation Center 50+ is a multipurpose facility that serves adults through a variety of programs and services. The center offers services for individuals with physical and mental disabilities. It is a place for organizing day trips, movie shows and dining events. The Southfield Adult Recreation Center 50+ operates Bible, bingo and scrabble clubs. The center also maintains support groups for people with visual impairments and Parkinson s disease. Located in Southfield, Mich., the center is owned and operated by the Southfield Parks and Recreation Department, which also operates the Southfield Sports Arena, as well as Beech Woods Recreation and John Grace Community Centers. The department offers leisure, cultural and recreational services for residents.
