John Yates has been in the sheet metal industry since 1972. He served a four year apprenticeship, and he was a foreman and job superintendent for Allied Sheet Metal. In 1983, he went into business for himself and started A-J Sheet Metal. John estimates jobs and oversees projects amongst other administrative duties.A-J Sheet Metal has completed hundreds of projects throughout Utah. We have done work for the State of Utah, AT&T, Qwest, Questar, Unisys, Loral, U of U Hospitals & Clinics, Abbott Critical Care, Wal-Mart, BYU, the U of U, and various school districts in the state. We have done projects of all sizes. We do small projects for customers who walk in off the street and want something fabricated.
