Northbrook Court is a North Shore hub of shopping, dining and entertainment. Anchored by Neiman Marcus, Macy's, Lord & Taylor and Crate and Barrel, the court features popular stores like XXI Forever, Coach, Banana Republic, J. Crew, Ann Taylor, LensCrafters and the Apple Store. Restaurants here include P.F. Chang's and Di Pescara; there's also a food court and an AMC Theaters. The Barrington Ice House Mall is a historic piece of Barrington history that has been converted for use as a shopping mall and office spaces. Originally built in 1904 to hold the Bowman Dairy, it has been home to several businesses before 1980, when it was converted to a shopping mall. The interior and exterior features classic red brick work and arched doorways covered in ivy. For entertainment, the Ice House Mall hosts events throughout the year and features art and historic installations for shoppers, such as a fanciful cow sculpture and an old train car. Currently, stores include Peter Daniel Apparel, Savvy Spirit and Tina Han Gallery, among others.
The Garden Market Barber Shop is located in the Garden Market Shopping Center in Western Springs. Although the staff does not do complex hair designs, it is a perfect place for a family to come and get their hair cut together. The barbers are good with children and make sure to accommodate customers' needs.
