Monroe Truck Equipment (MTE) was established in 1958. The company distributes, installs and paints pickup truck accessories and truck equipment, as well as manufacturing a line of snow and ice removal attachments. Headquartered in Monroe, Wis., MTE operates sales locations throughout Michigan and Wisconsin, including one in Flint, Mich. Built in 1989, the company s manufacturing facility has more than 300,000 square feet and hundreds of employees. MTE s capabilities include processing nearly 20,000 trucks a year. Monroe Truck Equipment installs truck modifications, such as dump bodies and hydraulic systems.
