The Korean Community Service Center of Greater Washington has three offices. The Gaithersburg location is on Muddy Branch Rd. The organization deals with social services, medical assistance, counseling, food stamp, and seasonal events which strive to empower Asian families and other immigrants to be healthy, contributing members of this society.
Identity is a non-profit organization for the benefit of Latino youth. It is located on E Diamond Avenue. Identity has after-school and leadership programs, peer and HIV education, re-entry and support for young detainees, as well as counselling and case management.
Community Support Services (CSS) is a nonprofit organization that provides community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities. CSS offers a wide range of programs and services for both adults and children, focusing on individual needs in school, work, home and the community. Services are rendered in the environments in which the individual desires to live, work, recreate or pursue educational goals. Some adult services include supported employment programs, residential assistance, recreational programs and day habilitation help. CSS also offers numerous services for children, including youth residential services, weekend programs, trips, summer camps and after-school programs.
