Community Housing Innovations, Inc. provides the housing and human services that enable low and moderate-income families and individuals to achieve the greatest social and economic independence at the lowest cost to society. It owns and manages 150 homes and apartments on Long Island, successfully combining state, federal and local grants with private bank financing to create cost-effective solutions to the affordable housing crisis.

Part of a large, private, not-for-profit organization, Long Island Child and Development Services, Head Start was founded in Suffolk County in 1966. Aiming to provide education for young children from underprivileged families, this pre-school program focuses on comprehensive education in essential skills. It also works with families on childhood development, mental health and nutrition lessons. This Head Start has been in this location since 2006, and offers free childcare to low-income families. They teach both Spanish and English in the classroom.
This location of Patchogue Medford Youth & Community Service is on Bay Avenue in Patchogue and provides many different programs, such as youth council, food pantries, clothes closet, holiday assistance and car washes. It advocates for specific youth and family help for a positive growth experience inside its communities. Through a hardworking staff, it achieve greatness inside the community.
