Nepperhan Community Center specializes in the fulfillment of educational, social, spiritual and emotional needs of children. It focuses on the development of self-esteem, self-confidence, conflict resolution and team building skills. The center organizes fashion shows and dance activities. It administers the Youth Tech Prep Program, which assists in the development of job readiness skills and conducts computer software application training sessions. Nepperhan Community Center also offers the Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention and Awareness Program, which provides direct support and individual and group counseling services for females. It works in partnership with Yonkers Public Schools and offers individualized instruction and therapeutic counseling services. The center additionally provides online donation options.
