JD Health & Wellness Center is a multi-disciplinary treatment model designed to provide holistic medicine. Holistic medicine looks at an individuals overall physical, mental, spiritual and emotional well-being. Practitioners operating from a holistic approach will treat the symptoms of illness, as well as look for and understand the basic cause of the illness. Holistic medicine also attempts to prevent illness by placing an emphasis on optimizing health by finding and maintaining homeostasis. Holistic treatment is a growing field in western medicine and although our focus will be primarily of this nature, we will also provide traditional allopathic services, with the goal of moving patients towards our holistic vision.
