Located on the first floor outside of JC Penny in the Westfield Meriden Shopping Mall, Spencers is an interesting and unique store. The dark shop is filled with all sorts of oddities and gag gifts. Apparel is sold for men, women and babies, including costumes and hats. Accessories such as belts, wallets, bags and jewelry are also sold. Spencers is not suitable for young children, because many risque items are available for purchase. Drinking games and books, room decor, party lighting, band and character items and horror/fantasy decorations are some additional items for sale in this entertaining store. Brands sold include Tapout, Hustler, Playboy, Ed Hardy, Sesame Street, TMNT and ICP.
