Don Skelton founded and opened Skelton Sports in 1979. He ran a thriving buisness due to his hard work and excellent service to his customers. Skelton Sports was known for competitive pricing, outstanding service, and putting out a great product! After deciding to sell his in 2007, sports and soccer kept Don pretty busy. However, in 2010, Don started receiving calls for help, and assistance in the sportswear and trophy industry. We started up again, small and low key....out of a small space in his home. Towards the end of 2011 we finally have a store front....and many of those Don worked for when he owned Skelton Sports, have come back. They know Don's reputation, and his quality of service to his customer! We are very thankful to be back, and more greatful to our loyal customers who never forgot us!!

Our employees are all experienced fishermen who have been pulling fish out of local streams and lakes for years. Come in and get their advice. Like our store? After a 37 year run for Fishermans Quarters, we hope to have the same longevity. Gary Roberson was the one who spearheaded the new store and after a few meetings, I (Chris Hochwalt) was back on board. We are all about customer service, and we will do whatever it takes to get you the product you need. Special orders are always welcome. The fly tying section has been greatly expanded and we now have Bill "Woody" Woodward on our team. He has been a huge asset as the interest in fly tying and fly fishing grows every year. We also have an onsite rod and reel repair and custom rod building headed by Clint Bissonnett. You will often see one of us fixing or cleaning back at the "liars table", where there is always a fresh cup of coffee waiting for you. Bring your reels in to get re-spooled as we carry anything from 4 lb. mono to 100# braid. Another place where we have improved things is in the live bait section. We try to add to it every time we get a chance and suggestions are always welcome. We can also custom rig your outfits, from catfish to fly fish. They will always be ready to fish the minute you leave the store. Youll discover a wide selection of both live and frozen bait at our locally-owned and operated fishing headquarters. Purchase quality bait that attracts all types of fish. We take pride in working with honesty and integrity, so you dont have to worry about hidden fees or surprise charges. Our staff are all local fisherman who have been trying all different ways to catch fish for a long time.
