Bryan A. Boyer, MD received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, served his residency at Akron General Medical Center, and completed his fellowship in orthopaedic trauma surgery at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association. As one of the only fellowship-trained orthopaedic trauma surgeons in the region, Dr. Boyer specializes in general fracture care, as well as high-energy injuries, major multi-traumas, pelvis and hip socket fractures, malunion and deformity correction, nonunions and bone infections. He also has special interest in Kyphoplasty for vertebral compression fractures.
Linda A. Mansfield, MD is a Sports Medicine physician with Beacon Medical Group Orthopaedics and Sports Specialists. She received her bachelors degree from the University of Dayton and her medical degree from The Ohio State University. She completed her residency in family medicine at the Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program and her fellowship in sports medicine with the South Bend Sports Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Mansfield covers numerous local high schools and collegiate sports teams. She also has a special interest in womens health. Dr. Mansfield enjoys waterskiing and running, but most of all enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.
Scott Thomas, MD, FACS, received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency in general surgery at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and The Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, Australia. He also completed his trauma fellowship at The Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Board-certified in surgery, Dr. Thomas is Chief of Trauma Services for Beacon Health System and answers as Medical Director of Trauma Services at Memorial Hospital of South Bend. He has been instrumental in strengthening the quality and expanding the capabilities of the area’s leading trauma program. He is a member of the American Trauma Society and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Thomas, who has served on numerous medical committees and councils, has conducted a variety of presentations and panel discussions regionally, statewide and internationally.
