Hidden Horse Ranch is a boarding facility for horses on a 140-acre working cattle farm. The ranch has hundreds of Holstein heifers and Black Angus cows, and horse owners can ride on the cattle trails or set off on their own. The ranch is owned and operated by the Jaggi family and has several boarding options. The pristine property in rural Ramona has two arenas and a deep-sand round pen.

Robert and Dixie North breed beautiful Arabian horses on their ranch a few miles east of central Ramona on Route 78. Stallions include champions El Chall, Ever After and Sir Fames, and mare champions are Brisa El Power, Donna Fantastykah and Psylk Obsession. Fitness Xpress is located in downtown Ramona on Main Street. They offer 30-minute circuit training for women only. Women can work out to up-beat music with an announcer that tells you when to move to the next piece of equipment. Members will experience strength exercises, aerobic and cardio exercises throughout the circuit. The cost is just $35 per month which is paid by EFT monthly.

The Boys & Girls Club is located in Collier County Park on the corner of E Street and 6th Street. This nonprofit club accepts children ages  five to 18 and provides a safe, fun place to go after school. A walking program is available between the club and Ramona Elementary School. Activities include sports, arts and crafts, cooking classes, computers, leadership opportunities and other special events. There is a mandatory homework hour from 4:30pm to 5:30pm every day. Annual memberships are $60.

Ramona-Julian Academy of Dance offers over 100 dance classes per week in the four-studio facility in downtown Ramona.  Dance classes include jazz, ballet, pointe, hip hop, tap, break dancing, belly dancing and American Sign Language dance.  Classes are for everyone, from ages 2 and up.  It also offers fitness classes including pilates, yoga and zumba.  Adults can sign up for as many fitness/dance classes that they would like for just $50 per month.  In the front of the facility is the "Dancin' Feet Boutique" which has all the supplies, shoes, apparel and accessories one would need to dance.  The academy also has gently used shoes and apparel.  The profits from the used apparel goes to the school's scholarship fund.  Please check with the dance school for the most current schedule of classes.

Pepper Creek Equine Center has a jumping arena, roundpen, parks, pastures and boarding paddocks. Boarding prices range from $245 to $400 a month. Horses are fed three times a day, paddocks are cleaned daily and horses can run free in the pastures. Foals and mares can be cared for, as well as aging horses. Pepper Creek has group and private lessons and training packages available. Other services include braiding, mane pulling, clipping and trailering.
