Wilderness Falls is a 36-hole putt-putt facility that also includes nine batting cages, a game room and a concession stand that serves beverages, hot food and sweets. There are two 18-hole courses: "The Bear" and "The Eagle," that feature several picturesque structures surrounding the holes, including waterfalls, a mountain, a cave, a road bridge and a cabin. You can bat in several different speeds in the cages, from slow-pitch softball to over 70MPH baseball.

The Balance Institute of Gymnastics (BIG) provides gymnastics classes for boys and girls ages 3 - 18. It offers 10-week sessions throughout the school year and 4-week sessions during summer. This massive sports club offers private leagues and clubs in an array of sports, along with fields and courts for high school and college teams. The club includes indoor soccer leagues for kids, youth, college and adult, volleyball clubs, referee clinics, tae kwon do classes, child safety training classes and women's self-defense classes. The Lake Barrington Field House, a community athletic complex, is the largest indoor multisport facility in Illinois. It provides a safe environment for athletes to train and work in and has an 85,000- square-foot-turf for athletic competitions and activities. The privately financed and community-owned site offers multisport youth programs, Pilates, adult, high school and tot sports, birthday parties and athletic tournaments.
As the name implies, Karate For Kids is a martial arts facility geared towards children. Open since 1998, the school hosts a number of diferent classes for different age groups. Tiny Tigers is a karate class for kids between ages 4 and 6. Adult Taekwondo and Kickboxing are available for students 18 and older. Karate For Kids is located within the Rice Lake Square Mall.
