ESP Baseball & Softball Training's philosophy is to train the total athlete. It has strength and endurance training facilities and a baseball complex that includes multiple (five) medium, 55 foot and 70 foot-long tunnels that give the athlete a realistic batting experience, no matter their age or skill level. Its automatic pitching machines (four) are augmented with a manual softball-pitching machine to provide adequate access for the individual "drop-in" athlete or an entire team.
In addition to automated baseball skills machines, ESP has an expanded area to practice infield activities and simulate real-game situations. Special sections provide for pitching, catching, hitting and general throwing drills practice. With an extensive indoor facility, one can prepare for baseball season long before the snow melts.
Hi-Five Sports Club was founded in 1990 and established to provide children of all ages with opportunities for quality sports and entertainment experiences. The Hi-Five Sports Club location in Northbrook serves children throughout the North Shore and encourages the importance of having fun. Flick Outdoor Pool is a majestic pool that is located in Glenview's Flick Park. It is a huge family friendly water park. It has water slides and spray pools. It also features Garden Grill, an outdoor grill with made-to-order burgers, hot dogs, chicken-breast sandwiches and other foods.
Norman P. Smalley Pool is located at York Commons Park. Featuring highly trained lifeguards, the pool offers both group and private swim lessons, memberships and daily admission. The pool can be rented for parties of up to 200 guests.
This studio, with its expansive, richly polished wooden dance floors and mirrored walls, has been offering dance instruction in the Lake Zurich area for 32 years. Located just east of the Routes 12 and 22 intersection along Route 22, myriad trophies from dance competition successes are visible through the windows of the distinct lavendar-trimmed building. Classes offered run the gamut from ballet to tap, jazz, tumbling, contemporary dance, hip hop, tumbling and even yoga. Classes are available for pre-schoolers through adults, and for boys as well as girls.

Tam Tennis & Fitness Club is a large indoor athletic complex with eight tennis courts and one racquetball court. Child care is available for those playing on the courts.
The first floor has two lounge areas that overlook the courts, which are on the lower level, along with clean, modern men's and women's locker rooms. A variety of lessons, leagues and programs are available for both adults and children.
Deer Creek Recreation Club is a private club for members only, located off 143rd St. in Plainfield. This secluded and peaceful property has two lakes and many activities, including boating, fishing, hunting, camping, trap shooting and virtual hunting on a 3D range. The club also has a playground, a clubhouse, a trap house and two pavilions.
Deerspring Park is home to Deerspring Pool, an outdoor pool open during the summer months. The pool has a Splashpad, as well as diving boards and water slides. Deerspring Pool has playground equipment for toddlers and elementary school age children. There is a small pavilion area with picnic tables. Tennis and volleyball courts are also available for use.
